A Spiritual Counceling
session is one in which we believe that we are each individual expressions
of God / Life Force Energy / the Divine / Universal Energy, whatever
it is that you know it as.
If we are seeing
lack or difficulties in our lives then we are blocking that Energy
somehow.
I begin and end the session in prayer. I consider
we are entering a sacred place where Spirit is the guide, love is
the activity and you are safe to be open so that healing may occur.
I am here to reflect to you the whole perfect Spirit
that you are, the physical is only one dimention of ourselves.
How
is Spiritual Counseling different to Psychological Counseling?
We are working on the Spiritual level of awareness,
focusing on making inner changes of perception in order to manifest
the desired outer results. We are not here to analyze the past or
delve deeply into it. NOW is the place of power and possibility.
Taking into account “It is done onto you as you believe”,
together we explore beliefs that may be causing blocks.
Always our goal is expanded self expression, greater
happiness, more love, health and freedom. I am an intuitive guide,
and a witness on your path but the work is yours to do. The reward
is great. I give homework, I teach tools and skills for use daily
and ask that you begin a gratitude journal if you do not already
own one. Progress may be instant or take time but there is always
progress. All you need is to be willing. Namaste`.
What
the work is based on.
In Christianity we say, “I can achieve all
things through Christ who strengthens me.” In Science of Mind
we say "We are alchemists in the laboratory of the universe,
what then shall we create." The truth is, no matter what your
religious background or your idea of God, if you hold a belief in
a benevolent power, greater than yourself, then as we work in alignment
with it in counseling, we can achieve growth, insight and change
of circumstances. The basis of the work is, you are a child of the
universe, divinely appointed to be here in the unique expression
that you are, with gifts of joy and love to share and a purpose
to fulfill.
